COMIO India Smartphone, India’s emerging mid-segment brand, recognized as ‘The Most Promising Brand‘ by The Economic Times.  The brand has setup operations across North India and had left the large South Indian market untapped.  They researched on South Indian market and found that Karnataka market would be the largest among other states in South India.  The brand unveiled its range of smartphone during an event on 29-May 2018 at Blue Frog, Church Street – Bangalore.

The launch event was attended by Mr.Sanjay Kalirona (CEO & Director, COMIO Smartphone) and various other members of Comio.   The CEO told about his special connect with Bangalore city and shared his excitement for starting operations in South India.  The event was restricted to select people from Media and Blogging community.

They have a network of 2000 retailers, 35 distributors, 400 after sales touch points.   Some of smartphones offered by the brand include – X1 Note, C1, P1, S1 and C2 LITE.  The price of phone ranges between INR 5000-10,000 making the phone extremely cost effective.

User Experience

The phone looks wonderful when held in hand and is extremely stylish.  I used the phone for clicking couple of pictures in low-light and take couple of videos.  The phone has good responsiveness to touch and screen clarity.  I will be able to share more specific info regarding features, reliability and performance after doing trials.

Overall Experience

It was a great opportunity to know about the new brand of mobiles, COMIO.  The brand has some wonderful budget phone that comes packed with great features.  Listening to the CEO speak at the event, I could sense the brand’s seriousness for making inroads into South Indian market.  I will be looking forward to getting hold of the phone and share a details review.
