VIVO is one of the leading mobile company that has repeatedly brought new innovations in the industry. We are aware of the Thinnest Smartphone, In-display fingerprint sensor, Pop-up camera, Sound-casting and Selfie-centric. Many of the features are available on their mobiles at very reasonable price and cater to all segments of market. Looking at the latest customer needs and market demands, VIVO has come up a new phone, VIVO S1. The phone also a very cool punchline “Its My Style” (#ItsMyStyle).

I recently got hold of the phone at the VIVO Experience Centre and try it out. The features in the mobile are mentioned below.

Best Features
Internal Memory – As the usage of mobiles increase day by day, the device is used to store anything and everything. Right from pictures, songs, videos to official documents, email and more. Mobile is now the miniature version of the laptop. The 128GB ROM is good, as one will not run out of memory soon. The 6GB RAM is also a good addition as this allowed people to install multiple apps and run in the background.
Camera – Taking selfies have become mandatory at any event these days. Having a 32MP selfie camera surely helps the cause. The triple camera in the rear serves different purposes and is a great enhancement. 
Battery & Charger – The 4500mAH battery will allow users to charge the phone once and not worry about drain-out for the entire day. I am yet to test out the battery performance but feel that its good. The 18W fast charge helps in charging the mobile much quicker and it’s an added advantage.
Colors – The new colors that can be seen on the back of the phone looks amazing. I personally loved the Diamond Black as it had the hint of Blue shade. It also reflects the light in all direction making it look like a diamond. The Skyline Blue has a distinctive light color and also a shiny finish that reflects multiple colors in the spectrum.
History of VIVO
VIVO as a company is owned by the Chinese Telecom/Networking giant, BBK Networks. This company also owns other brands like OPPO, Realme & One Plus. BBK Networks as a company started in 1995 and they started producing landline phone & wireless devices. In the next 10 years the mobile revolution picked up and this led to the company venturing into mobile sector.
VIVO came into existence in 2009 and they released the first mobile in 2011. In 8-9 years, the brand has catapulted to becoming the most loved Mobile company in the world. They have sold nearly 200 million phones worldwide until now.
Future Innovations
VIVO is one of the active participants in the Mobile World Congress that happens every year. In the latest event at Shanghai this year (2019), the company shared their vision for future.
5G enabled device – The new 5G will give allow multiple people in a specific location to get high bandwidth compared to the 4G. Every brand has started making mobiles that are 5G compatible. Its good to see the VIVO already has plan to come out with 5G enabled phones.
Super FlashCharge120W – The superfast charge feature of the VIVO phone will allow the 50% of phone to be charged in under 5 minutes. They will be able to fully charge the mobile in 13 minutes. This feature will easily make it one of the most sort after phone as we all complain of very poor charging speed in mobiles.
Final Thoughts
Its good to see the growth of the VIVO company over the past 9 years. The latest phone VIVO S1 is set to be unleashed to public from tomorrow (7-Aug’19) and its already created a buzz. Innovations in the budgeted phone give an indication of the future enhancements expect in their flagship V-Series mobiles. Looking forward to seeing more innovations coming from VIVO in near future.
